Profile

Diara is an investigative researcher and the community engagement lead for First Draft's US bureau. She received her Master of Arts in Social Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York in 2019. She has a bachelor's degree in marine and environmental science from Hampton University. She researches public health, climate change and science misinformation.
