CrossCheck Australia 2019
Political misinformation is a key concern of Australian voters, who head to the polls on May 18th. CrossCheck Australia is monitoring the Australian federal election by investigating disputed online content during the election and beyond.
Comprobado brings together 16 newsrooms in Spain to collaborate on investigations into disputed information circulating online. Launched in advance of the 2019 general election, the network are continuing to investigate online content and publish their collaborative reports.
CrossCheck Nigeria builds on learnings from previous First Draft collaborative initiatives, including Comprova in Brazil and the award-winning CrossCheck in France, applying the same standards and processes to publish a report.
Comprova brought together journalists from 24 different Brazilian media companies to identify and explain rumors, fabricated content and manipulation tactics that might have influenced the 2018 elections.

UK Election Watch was a collaboration between First Draft and the fact-checking agency Full Fact and brought together verification and fact-checking specialists to clarify and debunk news surrounding the June 8th snap election in the UK.
