Choose a friend (or yourself) and investigate their digital footprint. What can you find out about them? Which sites are they listed on? Are their Facebook friends visible? Can you see the photos they’re tagged in on Facebook? Do they use the same username across different accounts? Is their email or phone number accessible online? If they have a website, is the personal information available via a search on whois.icann.org?
