Geo-location

Our fourth module examines the “where” of online content, also known as geo-location. In this unit, you’ll learn why it’s so important to independently geo-locate imagery that you find on social media. We’ve also included an interactive so you can practice these skills. Course FAQs Instructor:
Claire Wardle is a Research Fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and the executive director of First Draft. She holds a PhD in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania and has taught verification in universities and newsrooms around the world.
